Post 1 for this new blog

I'm really too busy to start another blog; however, I love having the opportunity to write down a few of my thoughts. They're important to me if no one else! I simply love to write and take every chance to do so. My principal makes fun of my long, detailed e-mails to him, but when writing, since it's a one-way communication, one has to be really careful to explain what is meant. Otherwise there could be miscommunication and problems. On this blog, I will tell about my day-to-day happenings in the world of literacy coaching. I am in the process of developing a proposal to present helpful hints for other literacy coaches in America. Hopefully, my proposal will be accepted by the committee, and I will be making my trek to Ohio next February. This is my fifth year to be a coach of some title, whether it's a Reading Coach, Academic Coach, or Literacy Coach. The job is very necessary and can be stressful, but brings me pleasure to know that I just might be playing a part in students learning all that they can.
